Mark runs the Commercial Agency side of the business and is well known and established on the Island, having been born in Douglas and worked in Agency for over 28 years. Mark was educated at King William's College in Castletown and subsequently at Liverpool John Moore's [Accountancy], and
then Northumberland University, where he gained a First Class Honours degree in Estate Management. A qualified Chartered Surveyor and former Chairman of the local Merseyside and Isle of Man Branch, Mark now lives in St Johns with his wife, Rachel, and their two sons, Jack and Nathan.
A former Junior Island Squash champion, Mark is still regularly seen on court, but has become better known recently for taking to the fairways, or coaching the juniors, at Castletown's excellent Golf Links Course.

Mark is a Director of the Government owned national radio station - Manx Radio, and holds other Directorships in a number of Property related private and public companies. He is also a Governor of the Island's well known private independent school - King Williams College.
Mark sits on the Management and Executive Committees of the Manx Blind Welfare Society - one of the Island's largest charities, and is one of the founder members of 'Oskars Dreams', a new charity dedicated to the care of terminally ill children on the Island.

Born in the Isle of Man, Geoff has been part of the local property industry for 35 years. At Black Grace Cowley, Geoff leads with the professional department, undertaking a full range of Commercial property valuations for bank lending and company accounts, rent reviews, lease
renewals and arbitration work.

Geoff qualified at the College of Estate Management at Reading University and later gained a mid-career qualification in Arbitration. He is a director of several publically quoted property companies.

Geoff and his wife Nikki live in Castletown with their young son, Jake, the older children having fled the nest! He is a past president of Douglas Rugby Club and is a keen member of Douglas Rotary Club and Mount Murray Golf Club. A fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Geoff is one of the most experienced and skilled property professionals on the Island.

Nicholas joined the firm in 2002 and became a Director in spring 2003. Born and educated in Cheshire, Nicholas has spent 19 years in the industry based in Chester. Before joining Black Grace Cowley, he was a member of the Board of Management for the North of England's largest independent estate agents. His family have Island origins in Castletown and the South of the Island, dating back over generations.

Nicholas enjoys motorcycling, coastal walking, diving, mountain biking and skiing, the latter not being as prevalent on the Island as the former! He is a regular participant of the End to End mountain bike challenge held each year. Nicholas lives in upper Douglas with his
wife Gaby and two children; daughter Imogen and son Oliver.

Tim joined Black Grace Cowley in 2004, having previously qualified as a professionally registered estate agent in 2002. Estate agency is in Tim's blood; he has close ties to the industry dating back to when his father, together with former Director Patrick Cowley, ran one of our competitors prior to Black Grace Cowley being established. Born on the Island, Tim was educated at Cheltenham College and Rossall School before going on to Nottingham University to complete his degree. Tim took a distance learning course via the University of Reading to qualify as a Chartered Surveyor in 2006 and now works alongside Mark Grace in the commercial agency department whilst also heading up our busy Property Management Company.

Tim lives in the west of the Island and is married to Ann; they have one daughter Evie. To keep fit, Tim likes to get out on his mountain bike as regularly as possible and he's been known to wear a rather large sombrero on the golf course!
